GT3 interview #2
Posted by @ 2:08 PM, EST
IGN posted an interview with the game's American producer:

IGNPS2: How many players will it support?

Imasaki: Up to six players if you use three PlayStation 2's, because it's two players per PS2.

IGNPS2: It has been talked about how the computer AI will react to you in this game. So, if you push someone into the grass, that car will seek revenge on you. Is this being worked on?

Imasaki: Yes, it's being worked on and should be in the game. It's our goal to have you see emotion in the AI and it's one of the biggest things we hope to see in the final game.

Nope in no way you can damage the car visually.Car manufacturers dont want that unfortunately.
But pumbing your car hitting it etc will affect the controls and your car will need fixing. No visual damage but noticable damage by the feel of the controls.
Dont see the damage but Feel the damage

Well I wanna know is there posssible to damage your car? That would be cool and makes you actually care about cars unlike now where you can pull a handbrake at speeds up to 350km/h to fly past other cars into a wall and then accelerate smoothly away.

Hey, this is actually a PS2 game that I'm looking forward to. I want to see what the other car will do if I cut it off, etc. Plus, the graphics look pretty decent.

What I'm really looking forward to:
MGS2
Z.O.E.

Um....that's about it.

Its very hard for Polyphony Digital to include around 600 cars in GT3 because it takes more than a week to create a single car on PS2 because of more polygons detail real car data and improved physics.
The game has more than 150 cars and no less.Polyphony once stated they are going to include weather conditions like rain, snow, cloudy, sleet, etc in GT3

I believe around 130 cars are going to be included. Kind of strange, considering GT2 had 600 or so cars.
As for the inside the cockpit view, who knows. It will probably be like the rest of them.

How many cars are there going to be in GT3 roughly??
And another thing, are there any weather conditions like rain, snow, cloudy, sleet, etc in Gran Turismo 3.
And is there going to be an inside camera of the car and can be seen the inside of the car like the dash board??
