Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty review

We posted a review of Konami’s MGS2:
The graphics in MGS2 make good on the promises made from Konami. If you thought the demo looked good, then you are in for a treat. Everything has been tightened to the point that no game has ever looked this polished. You will even notice subtle improvements to scenes in the demo that are now even more detailed. The game is generally dark like MGS but this time the textures are more varied to convey a militaristic feeling. The environments are extremely interactive as demonstrated in the demo. You can open all kinds of door and interact with most things. Go near a hand dryer in the bathroom and it will go on. Blast a mirror and the pieces spread everywhere. Even the characters have been meticulously designed right down to fine details such has strands of hair blowing in the wind. The enemy soldiers are incredibly lifelike in how they move, talk and react to the slightest sound.Full review

| EMMA MUST LIVE!!!!! i think e.e should be back in the sequel and LIVE. its possible too, because ANYONE (like ocelot) could've took her out of the computer room after the gang leaves...AND, when we were shown the cutscene of the computer room flooding, they never showed emma's body...hmmm???... | |

| I LOVE METAL GEAR SOLID/SONS OF LIBERTY! Its one of the most mind blowing games on the face of this planet! It has spectacular graphics, a mind gripping story, and best of all...a character we'll never forget...Solid Snake. Only minor flaws like 90% of the game u play this gay moron named "Raiden", who comes out of NOWHERE. But whats done is done. I just hope Konami can make a more thrilling sequal involving our favorite character more. ps: I REALLY think that the new character Emma was worthy of sticking around, and feel that she shouldnt have died. It was heart wrenching. |
