Finally, an online Final Fantasy. Check it out:

Square recently released a new promotional trailer for their PlayStation 2 RPG 'Final Fantasy XI.' Specifically, the movie provides an overview of the game including battles, interface navigation and much more. For reference, Final Fantasy XI will be the first online compatible character in the series. In the finished version, players can build their own character from one of several races including Galka (warriors) and Tartares (dwarfs) amongst others. Check out the trailer below.

FFXI is coming out in the near future. I read alot about it and it's going to be completely online consisting of thousands of people. That's alright with me but the thing I don't like is the $10 a month server fee. That seriously sucks... There has been some rumors that there won't be a fee but if there is then I'm definitly not getting the game.

I couldn't agree more with shorty's statement on FFX. As for the next Final Fantasy game I here it's going to be played online with thousands of other people. I personally think that FFXI will be a greater hit than FFX ever would though.

Final Fantasy games are the best in history.
The final fantasy games alone put the rpg genre into high regard. I cannot think of another rpg worthy of 100 hours of my time per each outstanding game. Not only rpg's but all games placed in the one category, FFall would be placed in the top if not on the top of all games created to this day. The gameplay, the storyline, replayability and character involvement leave this game etched into the mind of oneself until the next series is released, bound to be better than the last, although not thought possible until first contact. Keep aware for the next editions of FF because you will be blown away.
