Wreckless for PS2 announced

Activision is bringing the high-speed WRECKLESS: The Yakuza Missions video game series to the PS2.
Heres a bit of the press release:
The title, which has remained a top-selling game on the Xbox(tm) sales charts, takes mission-based driving action to new heights with platform specific features including free-roaming interactive environments, more cars to drive, a variety of sub-mission objectives that unlock game-enhancing cheats and a multiplayer mode for head-to-head action.
"The insanely reckless, pulse-pounding fun that made WRECKLESS: The Yakuza Missions a success on the Xbox will take mission-based driving to new heights on the PlayStation 2," said Larry Goldberg, executive vice president, worldwide studios for Activision. "The game delivers an over-the-top action experience by allowing players to weave through traffic, bust through barriers, crash into parked cars, break through plate glass windows and even race up an escalator in a local mall."

| All of you are worng well at least some the xbox graphics for it were way above the avergae of the ps2 and also nothing will top the oringinal...reamber that! | |

| There is going to be downsides, since it wont have the power of the Xbox, loading times will suck, the city wont be put out all at once, youll have to drive to it for the buildings to appear, might be slow at times, graphics not as good, i know this because the PS2 could not handle what was on the Xbox, not enough power | |

| I've seen some screenshots of ps2 version of the game, and it doesn't look anything near the xbox version. It is blocky and un-aliased(rough-edged). I'm a ps2 freak, and I don't care too much for the xbox, but, I gotta say that although this game will be pretty damn good, it still won't hold a candle to the microsoft version. | |

| Seeing only commercials on wreckless showed me the jaw dropping graphics, I only hope that the ps2 can emulate simalar visuals as powerful as the system is. | |
