Fatal Frame review
Posted by @ 7:26 AM, EDT
Tecmos scary game, Fatal Frame, got a scary score:

Fatal Frame suffers from usual survival horror problems such as tedious puzzle solving and lame combat. The puzzles consist of two types, your basic get-this-thing-to-use-on-that-thing variation, or the (moderately) more enjoyable picture-taking puzzles. The latter involves taking a picture of a magically sealed door, wherein a picture is then revealed to you of another section of the mansion. Take a picture of said section and voila, the sealed door is opened. While fun at first, these eventually become tedious and annoying, considering the amount of backtracking that is required.

I totally agree with the frist reviewer. The game is much better then you have made it out to be. Granted it might not be the best game out there but it is still pretty darn good. :P

i cant believe how much you have slated this game, maybe they improved it a lot for the pal release, but i really enjoyed it, you say most ghost take 20 shots to kill, well it doesnt take that many, even with the low power film, you have to charge the shots up, as in keeping them in the circle for amounts of time.... you said nothing about the upgrading of the camera, to make it more powerful, and give it other abilitoes, id give this game 8.5 out of ten, i really enjoyed it
