Sony Ships �Personal Entertainment Displays�

As of Sep. 23, you can start buying Sony Personal Entertainment Displays (PEDs) at electronics stores. The 17-inch flat screen is loaded with inputs, allowing for several devices to be plugged in at once, be they digital cameras, game consoles, DVD players, or even PCs and laptops. The PED claims to be able to switch from e-mail to video games to DVDs with the push of a button, making the setup ideal for modern consumers who have the attention span of a gnat. It offers 16.2 million colors, surround sound, and a 16:9 display for DVDs and HDTV.
