"Square has confirmed plans to release 2 PlayStation2 titles at launch on March 4th in Japan. One has been confirmed as 'The Bouncer,' although the other remains a mystery. As we told you about first, Square is rumored to be working on a Final Fantasy Collection for the PS2 which would include FF 1-8 on a DVD set. Insiders suggest this will likely be the second launch title.

Arc Systems is rumored to be working on the sequel to their PlayStation fighter, Guilty Gear. From what we've been told, the game will be released in Japanese arcades within 2000. As a licensed PlayStation2 developer, rumors suggest Arc is planning to translate the game to the PS2 shortly thereafter."
