Tekken Tag Tournament preview
Posted by @ 12:34 PM, EST
We added a nice Preview of Namco’s awesome looking 3D fighter Tekken Tag Tournament.
Here’s some of it:

"The Tekken series is known for its easy move system which is good for people like me who don't play many fighting games, but I must say even I am waiting to buy this sucker. There are four main button moves: high punch, low punch, high kick, and low kick. Plus the top four buttons can be assigned different moves such as a two-button combo, sidestepping, throws and so on.

When the much-awaited Tekken Tag Tournament finally arrives on PS2, players can expect to see some of the old faces from previous games including Paul Phoenix, Yoshimitsu, Jin Kazama, Lei, etc. Plus there will be many new characters to choose from. This is definitely going to be a hot title and will be the perfect game to break-in that new PS2 controller."

Comment: It's always been left punch, right punch, left kick, right kick. To change it would pretty much require changing the entire game.

Comment: As far as I know my preview is correct. It appears that Namco has changed the controls a bit. PS2HQ says the same in their preview. But if you are still skeptical check www.tekkentagtournament.com They may have the button configurations there.

Comment: I was wondering whether namco has change the button configuration from right punch, left punch, right kick, left kick, to the high-low type mentioned or is this (more likely) a mistake?
