PlayStation 2 Much?

Gaming Age posted an article about the PS2 and if it is "too much".
Here’s a slice:

"The Playstation 2 looks perfectly capable of being the next mass market consumer electronic product, but hardcore gamers simply want the PS2 to be as good, if not better than the Playstation as a videogame machine. "I'm thrilled that I'll be able to surf the net or watch movies on my new game console, but what I want to do most is play games (Mike Fischer, Namco of America; PSM)." Mike's words speak volumes of how gamers will expect nothing but the best and most innovative games to take advantage of the what PS2 technology has to offer. Whether that involves connecting a hard drive, a digital camera, or downloading product through e-distribution remains to be seen. But if there is any product that can deliver an entertainment unit into living rooms around the world, it will be the Playstation 2 that could truly bring videogaming to the masses."

Comment: No, this isn't 2 much!! If anything it's an improvement, but, of course, there'll always be nay-sayers that'll say, "We don't need a DVD or the net...", but then there's you're innovative, future-look-to'er's that will scramble in the masses to get their hands on such a combination, DVD, PSX2, AND the net? I'll be a scrambler, thank you!
