PS2 as a digital VCR?

This has been reported all over the net, and it looks like the PS2 will be able to record data from your TV. Sony will be releasing a 50 Gigabyte HD in 2001 that could be used for storing the data.
This would be a pretty awesome feature, so hopefully this will turn out to be true :)

Comment: No, David. It jsut means you can record the Data onto a hard drive. The Playstation 2 has a DVD-ROM, and the ROM stands for "Read Only Memory", so you can't record a show on to DVD like with VHS. Sorry.
