Dead or Alive 2 on PS2!

Tecmo announced that Dead or Alive 2 will be a launch game for the PS2 (might slip back to a March 30th release). The game will be fully unveiled at the PlayStation Festival Feb 18-20.
Here’s some more info from Gamespot:

"As for when the PlayStation2 version of the game will hit the US, Tecmo has hinted at the fall. According to a company spokesperson, Tecmo currently has a contract with Sega of America that prevents the game from being released in the US on any other platform for a certain amount of time (most likely six months).">

Comment: Well, if games are converted from dreamcast to ps2, i hope namco will do the same with soulcalibur!!! it�s not that i don�t like DoA2, but...*g*

Comment: I don't think Tecmo would unveil it in the Playstation Festival.
It's not in the list yet. Should be coming out in the same time as Tekken Tag Tournament or maybe further delayed to avoid competition with TTT.

Comment: HELL YEAH!! It's about time Tecmo realizes who butters the bread. If it wasn't for the PSX, none of us gamers would even know what Dead or Alive is! Thank god they are doing this, it keeps me from even speculating about buying a DC now.
