Summoner Homeland posted an interview with Volition's Matt Kresge, one of the character designers for the PS2/PC 3D RPG previews/psx2summoner.htm Summoner.
Here’s a bit from the interview:

"Tell a bit about yourself. Who you are, what you like to do in your free time, things like that.

Matt Kresge is a human who works for Volition, Inc. Matt likes to Ski, watch anime, and look at small animals.

What exactly is it that you do at Volition?

Matt creates all the minor characters for Summoner. Matt likes village people and gargoyles. A lot."
