Namco & DH develop training program for PS2
Posted by @ 1:19 PM, EST
Straight from the Nikkei Industrial Daily Thursday edition:

"TOKYO --Digital Hollywood Corp. and Namco Ltd. (9752) are teaming up to offer a training program to teach the technical skills required to design games for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.'s next-generation PlayStation2 game machine.
The two firms will set up a six-month training course at Namco's creative center in Yokohama, where Namco game designers will offer hands-on instruction under a curriculum developed by Digital Hollywood. The program will accept 15 students, each of whom will pay 1 million yen.
Digital Hollywood and Namco believe that the March release of PlayStation2 will trigger a surge in demand for programmers who can develop games tailored for the new machines."
