The Japanese mag Famitsu recently posted the results of a survey they conducted about the PS2.
Here’s a bit from IGN’s article:

| Hmm..Its makes so much sence wot you wrote. I feel the same I have so much faith in Sony that I will stay with it. Reason number 1. I have grown to old to play Nintendo games, I mean Mario and his friends are nothing for me anymore, and yeah it comes better gaems than that but they also comes on Sony's machines. But when I get kids to raise, I will buy a Nintendo machine, if they want one that is.... Reason Nr 2. The X-Box from Microsoft..no matter wot it can do or how good it is...MicroSoft must not take over in the console market....I hope most of you guys/gals out there understand that. That is the world for Sony, Nintendo & Sega.... Reason Nr 3. Many have tried and failed to actually shake the throne of Nintendo....but Sony actually did...with only one try....so when I get my hands on the PS2..wow, wow, wow....... |

| This must feel great for Sony, to have made a machine that takes on more ppl than just gamers. As I can see games are a big subject here many seems to try out it DVD capabilities, which seems to work good and is good for those gamres out there that also wants a DVD player.... | |
