IGN posted some info and media on 3DO’s BattleTanx sequel for the PS2.

It's not quite obvious to the eye, but World Destruction League: Thunder Tanks is a continuation of the Battletanx franchise, set in the same war-torn postapocalypse. This time out, though, the name of the game will be sport, not survival, as the world's finest tankers duke it out for fame and fortune in an organized league.
