Gamespot posted an article about the virtual reality head-tracking system for use with the PS2; InterTrax 2.
A bit of the article:

The actual peripheral can be used with PS2 games developed using proprietary middleware software that enables InterTrax 2. The middleware tool was developed in co-operation with Japanese firm AiCube and is currently available free to licensed PS2 developers.
