ESPN International Track & Field preview

Gamefan posted a preview of Konami’s PS2 Track&Field game along with some new screens.
Here’s a bit:

International Track & Field features the endorsement of "The 100 Meter Man" Maurice Greene and three-time Olympic medalist Ato Boldon, and will allow gamers to compete in over twelve different competitions. The classic events, such as the 100 meter dash, hurdles and long jump, are in here by default, but Konami decided to try including a few new events - most notably, rhythmic gymnastics. Why in Odin's left eye anyone would want to see video rhythmic gymnastics is open to conjecture, but the gameplay in this event is just like Dance Dance Revolution's timed button-pressing; this event was probably included with the female gamer in mind.
