Being agile contraptions, your HIGH-MACS can fly for a limited amount of time, but you're required to maintain forward or backward velocity when airborne. This makes targeting ground-based targets a tricky proposition, though you'll eventually get it with copious practice. Your altitude also decays as soon as you take to the skies, and you'll hit the ground after around fifteen seconds of flight.
