Gamespot UK also posted impressions of Rage’s Wild Wild Racing.
Here’s a bit:

The handling of the vehicles is extremely realistic and, as such, relatively difficult to pick up the first few times you play. The loose surfaces that you're racing on don't help matters and if you attempt to approach Wild Wild Racing in the same way as other racing games you'll find yourself facing the wrong way and smashing into walls on a frustratingly regular basis. Practice proves extremely rewarding though, and the satisfaction you'll get from winning a race after sliding around every corner successfully makes it all worthwhile. There are also numerous bonus vehicles and items to be unlocked, although most of these are obtained in races other than the single and championship races.
