Core had a chat with Magical Company director Masakazu Yanai about Magical’s upcoming PS2 sports lineup.

CoreMagazine.com: Magical Sports Baseball is described as a 'high-school league' baseball title. Did you include actual teams and players from the Japanese high-school league or create fictional teams altogeter?

Yanai-san: The player design and stadiums are modeled after the Japanese high-school league, but all the players are fictitious. There's more than 4,000 high-school teams, so it would have been impossible to include them all.
