Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer for PS2

Activision today confirmed it has a surfing game in the works for PS2.

Slater is working closely with Activision to develop the title and is also a spokesperson for the game. The announcement underscores Activision's continued commitment to partnering with award-winning athletes in the creation of high-quality, cutting-edge action-sports games.

"Our partnership with Kelly Slater over the past nine months is enabling us to bring the ultimate surfing game to market," states Ron Doornink, President and COO, Activision, Inc. "The technological advancements of the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system allows us to recreate the dynamic wave motion and physics that are essential to producing an authentic surfing game."
