Papaya Studio interview
Posted by @ 7:32 PM, EST
Gaming Age posted an interview with Papaya Studio's, Lin Shen, the Creative Director of Top Gear Dare Devil for the PS2.
Here’s a bit:

Q: With a great deal of racing/driving titles coming to the PlayStation 2, what do you believe makes Top Gear Dare Devil stand out among the rest?

A: It is a very competitive market for us, especially since Papaya is a very small developer. We do not have the ability to compete with the big publishers in terms of advertising or marketing. In some way that actually works out good for our game development, because we don't have "marketing people" coming and telling us to make nonsense changes on the game. Top Gear Dare Devil doesn't have fancy wrapping and sugar coating. It is a pure and solid game for gamers who are intellectual and unique. It's an intense game with a lighthearted feel to it that is very satisfying to play.
