We added a review of Namco’s fighting game, TTT:
As for gameplay, TTT remains faithful to the arcade version and the previous installments in the series. Of course the new addition this time around is the ability to tag in a partner during a bout. There is quite of bit of skill involved here in order to utilize the tag feature successfully. As you progress through the game, you will find that certain pairings of characters will enable a stream of combinations moves using the tag. Beyond the tag feature, the control mechanism remains the same.Full review

| Yes Chaborf hardware performance has nothing to do with the quality of games but tell this to developers and consumers.Unfortunately thats how things are.And I am worried about it.I like DC and I want to own one.I can see the great games it has.But PS2 and DC isnd like PSX1 and N64.The N64 although a 64 bit console the PSX1 had a CD-ROM drive and it was friendlier to developers.There were also some other disadvantages that affected the N64 life. All aother next gen consoles are more powerfull than DC.That time it was Saturn PSX1 and N64.2 32BIT consoles and 1 64BIT console.Now all 128 bit and PS2,GC and XBOX are all more than just 2 times more powerfull. 1st party Sony developers arent as talented as Sega developers but there are other developers supporting and making PS2 look better. Thats what happened with Saturn Vs PSX1. The PS2 VRAM isnt a simple VRAM.Its streaming VRAM that streams from a 48GB per second data.Its very fast and the results can be better than just 8MB VRAM the DC has.There is still no developers using the VRAM streaming power much.Its not a problem. ODDWORLD is coming to XBOX because M$ paid them to make it an XBOX exclusive.Developing problems existed but they werent that big.They use stupid excuses because of "moral" developer issues and who knows maybe MS paid them ton say all those things. I find it strange after all this time in development and so much expenses almost finished,great graphics(The enviroments looked perfect.I downloaded all Oddworld movies.)to can it for PS2. |

| Hey Irvin, yea cool thanks for responding. I just feel very let down at the moment. I do have one bone to pick with ya though, man. "They refuse to give DC a chance because it's hardware is very, very weak." Hardware performance has nothing to do with the quality of games for it. Sure, it's nice to have that extra juice I'm sure but it is definitely not necessary. The DC has more than adequate power, that has already been proven time and time again. For an example, look at the success of the PSX versus the N64. Surely the N64 was more powerful, but which system came out on top? What SEGA has going for it is innovative, creative game makers.....something that 1st party Sony has yet to show me. I'm very frustrated that the DC is underappreciated just because it's from "SEGA" or people won't give it a chance because they think the hardware is "very, very weak." One more thing: I'm worried about the VRAM issue of the PS2. It's like putting a "Pinto exaust on a Ferrari 355" as someone once put it. Now I'm not worried about the big-wig developers(ie.-EA or Konami, Square),but what about the small guys? That sucks that Abe's is going to X-box because of environment difficulties. |

| You are comparing first gen PS2 titles with second gen DC titles here dude. Tell me what good rpg did DC have when it was first released? And summoner isnt about graphics its about gameplay.And its very nice.Its not a clear revolution but its a nice game. They refuse to give DC a chance because its hardware is very weak.Very very weak compared to the other consoles. Take a look at GT3,BOUNCER etc GameCube's and XBOX's demos.How can it compete? And excuse me what PS2 games did you buy? You said you had a Saturn.Saturn owners hated Tekkens Ridge Racers etc.Then how would they like PS2 when its first games are based on Tekkens Ridge Racers and many other games that are 1rst gen games? |

| Damn I'm enjoying Shenmue. The best game I've ever played hands down. It's too bad a lot of people will miss out on this great game because they refuse to give the DC a chance. Sony brainwashed fools! Enjoying your $300.00 DVD player? Enjoying those "rehashed" updates? Or how about Summoner? What a joke. Yea, really revolutionary. Could've been done on the N64. It's really sad that I have my PS2 sitting on the floor next to my DC and my DC is getting far more playing hours. Well, at least I can watch "Run Lola Run" on it which is cool. The PS2 looks awesome too, I'll admit. Aside from that, what a major dissapointment. If I'd known then what I know now, I would have put that $500 I spent on this "BS2" on more great DC games. Well, gotta go puppets. Gotta go play some great online football and basketball, maybe something that you will experience in say...oh a year or so. | |
