I guess different people has different taste. I like FF8 character models a lot better than the deformed style. Characters model like the one in FF1-6 are getting old and I want something new, something more realistic while keeping the fantasy of Final Fantasy.

Crappy scans and the character models are FFVIII style
I have to admit I like the deformed style characters better.
