NCAA Final Four 2001 review

We added a review of 989 Sports’ college basketball game, NCAA Final Four 2001:
989 claims to have "More than 1,000 Motion Captured Moves" in Final Four. I didn't count them, so I suppose we'll have to take their word for it on this one. The dunks are impressive, the player animations are well done, the players move quickly (60 fps) and smoothly. Last but certainly not least is the addition of cheerleaders. If the movement into 128-bit gaming is to be known for anything, it's bound to be the return of cheerleaders to sports gaming. Double Dribble had them, Tecmo Bowl had them, and now we can add NCAA Final Four 2001 to that illustrious list.Full review

I think this game for being the first basketball game out for p2 has alot of potential but it lacks alot names for one ncaa final four 2002 should be alot better and it probably will but if 989 puts out another college game like that then they should fire all developers and creators of the game my rating a poor run 4 out of 10 |

It doesn't have real players. Just their numbers. It's probably close to real life though. At least their attributes. |

Easy question to answer, just to make sure this college game has the Duke players of this season, Williams, Batie, Boozer, Dunleavey, and Duhon right? |
