Metal Gear Solid 2 Delayed in Europe

Konami admits that Metal Gear Solid 2, arguably the most anticipated title from the company and for the PS2, will be delayed until 2002. Konami officially stated that it will release within the fiscal earning year up until March of 2002, but a release within 2001 is highly improbable in Europe. No official statement has been made concerning the US release, but the Japanese release is still scheduled for the end of 2001.
