Z.O.E. Import Preview

Ign has got their hands on an import version of one of the most anticipated games for the PS2, Z.O.E., sadly its in japanese, lets take a look:

"Oh, well. I'll keep the redneck katana sharp for when I can speak with authority, and turn instead to what makes me happy about Z.O.E, which is almost everything (except for the fact that I can hardly understand any of it yet). Its storytelling is powerful, to begin with. After the intro movie, which compiles game sequences together into a montage accompanied by beautiful theme music, the cinematics proper begin. The chaos of the colony jack is presented halfway in flashback, as Leo flees the battle while remembering the death of his friends. The scale of the orbital frames in these scenes is awesome, as they tower over humans as proper giant robots should. Then, he stumbles upon the Jehuty frame, and the story you may have seen some of in our demo movies begins."
