IGN gives a hands-on look at the next "true" sequel in the Twisted Metal series.
The most intriguing aspect of the battlegrounds is that they feature traffic, ever-changing weather conditions, living pedestrians and interactive objects that make for a highly charged, living world of destruction. The weather conditions in particular are quite cool and add a lot of realism to the general look and feel of the game.The Full Story
In addition to the eight single player levels, the game will have 10 levels designed specifically for multiplayer deathmatches. The gameplay modes include the following: Pure Death Mode, Endurance Mode and Co-op Mode.

| I've gotta question for ya all: In Twisted Metal: Black, I have beaten the game with every character, including the hidden characters and naturally, I was able to play as Minion. What the hell is with the guy's storyline though?! There's no epilogue or anything, not to mention the fact that the intermittent story between levels is nothing but what seems to be a bunch of random numbers. Anyone have a clue if this means anything? |

| Twisted metal black looks wonderful (It should be much better than 989 studios.)In other words I agree with ArMs.Now here is what I know.It will be available June 19 (yeah!) It has at least 15 playable characters.All contestants are from the same mental Asylum (the Blackfield Asylum.)The new characters will contain No Face (drives the Crazy 8),Sad Sally (drives The Hearse), Preacher (drives the El Camino), Doll Face (drives Darkside, oh no), And Bloody Mary (drives .)Players can drive though a prison, rooftops, suburbs and a city called Rumble City.It has 128 bits and 60 frames per second.TMB has 20 deathmatch arenas.Last butt not least it's rated Mature for gruesome, nightmare-worthy characters, cinemas and imagery. ,Sam |
