SCEA's new, five-year business plan reveals the first details of Sony's next major platform.
According to a report by Reuters News Service, Sony Computer Entertainment has formed an alliance with Toshiba and IBM in a deal worth $400 million. The five-year agreement will produce a new type of microprocessor, described by some commentators as a "supercomputer on a chip," for use in "'intelligent' consumer electronics" applications, connected to each other and the Internet.Full article
