ISS Pro Evolution 2: First Screens

I thought you soccer fans might like this...
We've just received a Japanese preview version of Winning Eleven 5, the game which (with a few improvements no doubt) will be released as ISS Pro Evolution 2 for the PS2 towards the end of this year. At the time of writing we've only managed to squeeze in a few matches and decipher about half of the menu screens but it's already clear that FIFA has some serious competition. The gameplay is almost identical to that of ISS Pro Evolution 2 on the PSone, although even faster and smoother, and the quality of the visuals and animation, even at this early stage, is pretty much on a par with FIFA 2001.Full article

This game looks very promising. Is the ESPN MLS Extra Time based on the same game engine? I prefer to play the game in a language I understand.. /rocco |

Yup, this will be the best football game ever! But those screens in the article are pre-rendered, they're from the intro, which is identical to the Winning Eleven 5 (aka ISS Pro Evolution 2) intro on the PSX |
