Gamespot U.K. has posted a preview, on this upcoming Ps2 title:

"At the beginning of the game each vehicle has three abilities, which can be assigned to controller buttons and usually fire a weapon, execute a special attack or give your car a boost of speed. To use these abilities you are required to collect small Wacky discs, which pop up all over the circuit. More abilities and gadgets, each staying true to the theme of your chosen car, become available as you complete circuits of the course, and each vehicle is also graded for speed, acceleration and grip."
