New Mortal Kombat 5 Details

Maybe this one will have a bit of depth to it...something that hasn't been achieved yet with the series. Here's some info:

Apparently the arcade game will be released next year and will use a completely new engine. The only certain character is Scorpion, but the chances of him being joined by Sub-Zero seem likely. Characters will show wear and tear as a the fight progresses, and the game will introduce new story lines, as well as continuing some of the classic stories. The game won't be playable at E3, according to Boon, but images are should arrive in the next few months.
