The Getaway Skips E3?

C & VG reports that Sony isn't quite ready to show off it's London crime game yet:

"It hasn’t been decided yet, but it’s looking fairly certain that it won’t be shown as a playable game," an SCEE spokesperson told CVG today. "It’ll probably shown in some kind of video form. They [Studio Soho] don’t want to be caught in the trap of showing it too early. Obviously there’s a tremendous amount of hype surrounding The Getaway at the moment and we don’t want to be forced to show code that might not be reflective of the final version. They would sooner continue working on it and show it at a time when they feel comfortable showing it, not when E3 dictates."
