![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() From what I know, only software version 1.00 lets you play american dvd's on a japanese playstation. If you don't have the 1.00 cd, I hear if you search the net its available (you'd have to burn it also). Hope this helps. I don't know of any "cheat" that lets you do this. You sure the guy that sold it to you wasn't blowing smoke up your ass? ![]() ------------------ [This message has been edited by mm (edited 08-20-2000).] |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the reply. I know he's not blowing smoke up my ass. Korea is the same regionalization zone as the states. He played a couple of DVD's at the store (legit... really). There is a cheat using the controller. You have to press up on the D pad and hold one of the buttons. I just can't remember the combination. It's a real cheat using the 1.00 DVD driver. I can't remember the damn thing though. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You just hold up the entire time the disc is loading. It does help on some discs to use in old playstation non-analog controller. Also remember that not all DVD's are playable. There are lists out there that will tell what can and cannot be played, but I don't have one handy. ------------------ |
