While watching the dvd rip of the metal gear 2 demo (oh and its still jaw dropping), did you notice at the end the reference long time no see brother (may be different wording).

Does this mean Liquid Snake Survived the battle with Snake, or could of he been cloned ?

So many questions !!

No, I think the "Long time - No See brother" was probably said by the 3rd survivor of the Les Enfant Terribe project... Solidus, who was at the time president of the United States.

I just don't know how in the hell Solidus survived though since Liquid said that six of the eight fetuses were intentionally aborted, and that he was used as a phenotype to bring out the dominant genes in Solid Snake. (Actually the opposite happened and SS was acutally the weaker brother, but still.. why would they need a third child?)

Also, what does Revolver Ocelot have to do with MGS2, and what is his connection to Solidus? We know he's back since he was seen in the trailor, but the troops at the beginning of the trailer called him "Shalashaska". Didn't Revolver say that he was known and feared by the Mahaid Jhaid(Spelling? correctness?) by that name? Are they the troops who call themselves the Sons of Liberty??

Argh.. Damn... Too many questions. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Wasnt Solidus in one of the old Metal Gear games for NES? one of the ones that came out in japan.....i dont know, maybe i just dreamt that up.

I wonder if konami will put the old versions of metal gear inside. Meaning the Nes versions.

Liquid is in it. I recall reading an interview w/Kojima and they asked him about it. About the 'brother' statement, and he said something like 'Yes, he's back' .. Not exactly in those words, but it was referring to Liquid. I'll try to find the interview and post it here. This was quite a while ago though.
