If you truly feal your making the right decision buying a PS2 and you know you'll enjoy the games then he shouldn't bother you and you can ignore him. Its only if your in doubt of your decision that you'll feal uncomfortable with what he's doing. Maybe you should think about getting a PS2 later, after the hype dies down.
