Since the Unreal vs. Timesplitters vs. Doom seemed to interest people a bit i thought i would throw this comparison out there.
For me its a tough call but I have to go with Metal gear just for the sheer scope of the story and all the dialogue that really drew me into the game.
But Syphon filter had a far superior sniper mode and in my opinion the AI was way better

I dont know which I like better.
But I know I`ll get both MGS2 and Syphon3 for my PS2

Syphon Filter i played to death at the start, but gave up due to frustration.

Both these games are kick ass, with Snake comming back to the ps2, and Guabe Logon - i expect him to be on the ps2.

Its a tough one, but i have to choose metal gear. The story just hooked me

Yeah thats why i picked it too crippler but with ps2 all may change. syphon filter with a kick arse story and a tazer WOW!

Both games were way cool. But I think MGS was more about tactics and stealth, whereas Syphon Filter had a lot of shooting!

Both games are excellent, but I think I'll choose MGS if I have to.

i say Syphon Filter 3, just because i have never played the MGS series.
