![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sure thing Jin. Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is "unconfirmed" to be coming to the PS2 with about 70+ Characters. Tekken 4 is going to be released on the new PS2 arcade hardware late spring next year(in japan of course) Namco is also working on RRV (of course) and Moto GP. As well as the sequel to Soul Caliber which is rumored to be a PS2 exclusive. I'm hoping to see some great things from Sqaure as far as the bouncer and some other games. (Maybe a new tobal??) Anyhoo, hope that helps. I also hope that Capcom brings Snk Vs Capcom to the PS2.... As well as Guilty Gear 2. Keep those fingers crossed! -huddy- ------------------ |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I know Soul Calibur 2 is strongly rumored to be on the system 246 hardware, since the 246 is Namco's PS2 based arcade hardware a PS2 port is highly likely to come on the PS2.Tekken 4 will come sooner or later.Sadly I really doubt VS will have a sequel as the game didn't sell to well in Japan and the lead gut of VS was fired by Square for poor japanese sales.I personally doubt we will see MVC2, if Capcom was bringing it to the PS2 they would have annouced it already. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Namco is making a game for the System 246 hardware (Basically the arcade version of the Playstation 2), however they haven't announced what the name of it is yet. My own guess would be either Tekken 4 or Soul Calibur 2. Whichever it is, a PS2 port is pretty much a given. They also have a 2d RPG in the works (I'm afraid I don't remember the name), Klonoa 2. ------------------ Gendo: Yes... http://lefty.simplenet.com/svam/ |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Actually, I know that the Marvel/Capcom 2 game is coming to the Japanese PS2. They are close to annoucing it. Also I'm hearing that Street Fighter 4 (yes... 4) is said to be using the 246 PS2 hardware as well. With that in mind, the PS2 will have lots of 3-D games and 2D for us "old school" players! -huddy- |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Why would they spend much time with the 246 arcade hardware? Now I'm not entirely sure, but I was pretty convinced that the Naomi 2 was just as powerful, if not more. Damn, Planet Harriers looks sweet! If I'm right, and I don't know much about the specs of the Naomi 2, but it offers a way to increase T&L effects plus offer a polygon-count roughly the same as the PS2 at the same time. Also, isn't MVC2 a Naomi game? Can they really port it to the PS2? And Huddy -- seriously, get a PS2, but why not get a DC as well if you really care to play MVC2, SNK vs Capcom and Guilty Gear X? -Zenogias |
