I doubt you'll get it if it was from a small bussiness, Big stores like toys r us are having problems.

It has been said that IF every store gets a equal amount of PS2's they each will have 25.But since that isn't the case there will be stores that WILL have problems.Infact some say there are stores that only get as little as 5 PS2's because the big retail chains (Target,Toys R US,K-Mart,Walmart etc...) will get more than 25 ps2's (probably around 100).

The manager over at my local Toys'r'Us says they are garenteed for 40 to fill their pre-orders and might get more if they can get their hands on them, but he said that was doubtful.

As for target and walmart...they probaly getting closer to 1 or 2 units not 100, simply because those stores dont take pre-orders and sell on a first come first serve basis.

My local EB said they have 125 pre-orders and they Guarantee PS2's on launch day IF you pre ordered before August. You don't have to pay in full or anything.

Well, my EB near me has a total of 150 pre-orders. They held them to just that many.

Now they say they will probably get half that at best.

They have been calling people to tell customers to come in and pay off the system in full.

I did last week. I am #6 on the payed in full list. Apparently, this is how they will do it. It will go in order from who paid off first.

Some will say they may get screwed in that they reserved months ago and id not pay off in time. Well, EB called in order, who reserved first. I did so in January.

I should be good to go.

It is a little unfair though. Some people preorder them months in advanced, but in places like where I live, the stores are notpreordering. So, I could just walk in on release day and get one while someone who had one preorderd may not get his till later.

A small buisness probally won't get any. Stores like K'b'toys/Toys'r''us/EB will probally get some.

I dont expect Wal-Mart/Kmart to get but a few, and probally NONE in certain parts of the US. I truly doubt if my local Wal-mart gets any. They didn't even know it was going to be released, until a customer asked, and the clerk was dumb-founded that there was going to be a new one.
