I have not got a PS2 preorderd yet. Mainly b/c I live in a very small town and there is really no where to preorder one, except at the wal-mart in the next town. I dont even think they are allowing people to preoder them. Just selling them as they are delivered. What do you think my chanes of getting one within a month after its release is? ------------------

uhhh...no chance on first day cause your Wal-mart is probly only getting 5 PS2s at the most. Within the first month is kinda hard to tell...cause we know that sony is shipping 100,000 more PS2s a week but ow many of those are going toward the Wal-marts and Targets of the nation is unknown....so...I would drive to the closest EB, Babbages, Toys'r'Us or Software Ect and put money down on one.

since walmart is open 24 hours a day be there at midnight and see if you can't get yourself one,oh yeah you might wanna camp out the night before

The chances are very slim on launch day but you might get lucky and get one by April.That's when the the next BIG shipment is.I don't think stores are accepting pre-oreders for the 26th anymore though.I hope I helped.

Well, I can probably get one if I camp out. I mean, there is not really a big rush to get them from here. I only know a few people that are getting one. Like all the games you have to preoder. When Final Fantasy 8 came out I did not preorder it. I just walked in the day after its relaease and there was one left and I got it. ------------------

You might not be able to get one the first few months. The very few PS2's that your nearest Wall-Mart will recieve will have already been pre-orderd. And the ones coming in after those will also be reserved for the people that already pre-orderd. I pre-orderd mine in July or August and I wont get mine till after Christmas so no.

They dont allow preoders except for games. So I am justgoing to get there when they are delivered or camp out ofr the night if I have too. Maybe get in a few fights.
