Alright...

Just today I was playing Gran Turismo, and upon trying to save my game, I was told my memory card was "faulty". How nice.

Knew not to let my brother touch my PSX...

Anyway, how can I get the card up and running again? I didn't lose any data; it was a blank card...

Anyway, how can I get the card to take game saves and such again?

?

I would try reformating it. The only ways I know of doing this is with gameshark data-deck of i believe ff7. You could also try putting two memory cards in their slots and starting the plastation without a game and try copying a file to the broken memorycard.

Are you playing GT ot GT2? The older version of GT2 is always screwing up my memory cards. I don't have any solutions, but that may be the problem.

Its the first one.

I doubt that it is the game screwing it up; probably soemthing else...

I'll figure it out.

mmmmmh...
just a try... if you have Colony Wars (I or II) you can "see" the faulty blocks on your card !!! For example: If you have some blocks with gamestands and GT says the memcard is full, with Colony Wars you will see the other blocks in dark blue... those are the bad ones! If you erase them everything should be fine again...
Well it works on my 240 blocks card !
Just try...
If you donïż½t have Colony Wars... go get it! Itïż½s a good Memcard Tool...
