Everything I have read says that it is not. It should be out in early November. That's good enough for me. I can't wait to play some PS2 hockey either.

Gotten almost every EA hockey since 94 (yes, the Genesis!!!). Can't wait for 2001....I heard initially in November, now I hear it's gonna be a launch game....hope it's true, then I know what game I'm gonna be buying!!!

Don't bet your pre-sell that this will be a launch game because it won't. I have seen that list and other like it and up until a week ago, no one really could pin down all of the dates. Although IGN tried to give us a list calling it "Confirmed", it wasn't further from the truth. Conversely, I have The World is Not Enough pre-ordered and EB seems to be the one of the few promising that it will be a launch title.

One of my minor frutrations with this launch is the fact that up until a couple of days ago, we had no firm titles at release except for Madden. I seem to remember during Sega's DC launch that we knew what the launch titles would be for at least two months leading up to 9/9/99. Not to say that is good or bad compared to Sony's handling of this launch, but that is what I simply remembered. I have long since reserved myself to having to go into EB on the 26th and find out first hand what is truly available and what is not.
