![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If it's not illegal to modify your car, why would it be illegal to modify your PSX, or your TV or your stereo? Besides, I don't want to get into that debate.... I just want to know how much money can be made by doing these mod chip installs. ------------------ |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I got my chip from an import store that installed it for about $60. I had to leave it there overnight but when I got it back, it worked like a beauty. Though, you could more than likely buy mod chips online and find instructions for installing them. That's what one of my friends did. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() How about modchipping a Playstation 2, is that possible? Will it allow multi-region DVD's, VCD play, backup play(well duh), but who has a modded PS2 here? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I was checking that out as well... it looks a little harder than modding a PSX, but if you can do one you should be able to do the other, it's just a few more wires to solder. I'm not sure what all it will allow you to do though... mostly I think play back ups of your games. ------------------ |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() According to http://www.modchips.com, you can read all PAL, JAP and NTSC, play backups, for both PS1 and PS2. -Mu0n

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i have no trouble with anyone modding their console (which should never be illegal),it doesn't effect anyone but the owner (voids warranty - by the way,i think just opening up your consoles does this anymore..?),i just do not like software pirating, this does affect everyone...be nice if there was more places to mod consoles instead rare hard to find internet shops. |
