I heard from Sony that some orignal PSX games will be "enhanced". Do we know what games they are talking about. None, some, any, all?

I believe that some games will be enhanced, but don't expect too much, because its not going to give you much. (from what i've seen & heard)

Maybe better frame rate... less pixelation...

From what I heard all the PS2 will do is smooth out some of the rougher graphics of the original games. It's a nice touch but I doubt it will be a major improvement.

They may load faster depending on how old your PS1 is. Just a guess...

From what I have saw, its nothing that impressive. Just smooths things out quite a bit. Makes the textures look less jagged.

The original Ridge Racer in the PS2 is said to look a bit similar to R64 if that helps.

Do you think the PS2 released in the US can enhance more to PSX games than the Jap PS2?

I guess there will be some improvements but not to the degree that everyone was hoping. Bleem for the DC has shown with screenshots only that it will be able to enhance the game through the DCs hardware. I would like to see first how how "enhanced" the graphics will get.
