As I was walking through zone to get to the JediKnight game rooms, I saw this:
http://entertainment.msn.com/news/eonline/0509/hchristensen.asp
A guy with a last name of Christen is playing Anakin Skywalker for Ep2. Some unknown is set to get the StarWars curse and stigma and suffer the fate of Mark Hammill!
It's prolly old news to all the avid StarWars fans, but I decided to post this anyway for all to see.

Well first of all, your topic is hard to understand ... so many Prolly skim right over it. Second of all, his last name Is Christensen. But in any event, If Lucas and co feel that he is the best man for the part... Power to ya Hayden!

If you ever saw um......Mighty Ducks 1 or 2 i think, he is the kid who had to transfer to the Ducks in order to play.
Remember?
Anyway, I think he will make a good Anakin.
Better than Leo, that's for sure!!!!!

This is typical George Lucas casting. He never casts well known actors, you should know that by now.

Liam, while he has been in several movies, is not exactly considered a Mega Star... He does not exactly rank up there with Tom Hanks. S. L. Jackson... while being a well known actor, did not exactly play a very large role in the Phantom Menace. Natlie Portman, Jake Loyd, Ray Park, Ahmed Best... All played major roles in the Phantom Menace, but were relatively un-heard of actors.

Can't be any worse then Anakin in episode 1. I loved the old starwars, In fact I stood in line for a day to get tickets to see it at midnight! I was in the first group of public to see the show in North America. I thought it was ok, but wasn't what I would have liked to see. I think the kid that was Anakin sucked in Episode 1, some really bad acting! I think they should have gotten that kid from 6th Sense. Now he is a good kid actor. Oh well, thats my rant for the day!
Rock on!

*Leam Neeson is ranked up among the heavyweights!
-Rob Roy
-Shindler's List
-Michael Collins
-Other historical movies that were critically acclaimed and particularly praised Nesson's performance
Anyhoo..... Episode1 kicked ass!! I dont' really care about the acting.. nor do I care about how we never developed any kind of feelings towards the people of Naboo because the script didn't allow it. Come to think of it, no one really cared about the plight of Anakin and his mother or felt any kind of affection twards Jar Jar Binx. I can see that not many people can see past this but the really kewl Saber Action, LOUD LOUD and very kewl sound effects, Incredably kewl and detailed environments and rendered characters more than made up for it. for me anyhoo...
FFFZZZTTt SSCHHKKK zzzzttt VVRRRGGGNNNGGGG KKZZZTTTT!!! SSSZZTTT Fffzzttzzzt sshzz!! I just love saber noises! So kewl!

The first movie basically introduced us to the characters and the plot. Episode 1 and Episode 2 will kick major ass. The last 2 movies will be much more serious and much darker films than the first.
Even though some people didn't care for Episode 1, I thought it rocked. Not as good as Gladiator, but still awesome. A huge number of people must have liked it because it made 450 million dollars in the US alone. That's the second highest grossing film of all time.

Liam, while in my opinion a great actor, is not as well known as other actors. Such as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, or Jim Carey. I'm not saying that he is a No-name either, but I don't classify him as a mega-star.
