Again, we're astounded. Hello! Dreamcast: �149! Is anybody at all paying attention?!
This week's Dreamcast figures clocked in at 1278 sales on Chart Track, compared to 616 the previous week. PlayStation sold 7214 and 6072 respectively over the same time period. N64 did 1890 and 1684. Meanwhile Game Boy is selling around ten times as many. What's your problem, UK?
The message is clear: DC is done for if Sega can't hammer its message home before October 26."

How the hell can the Gameboy keep selling so well...it's incredible!
I can't think of any reason why the DC is doing so badly...at least, it should be doing better than it is.

As much as I dislike SEGA ( for no reason - hee-hee ), it's distressing to see it do worse than N64 with it's Pokemon crap.

Pok�mon!  Lots of pommy kids are asking their mums to buy them gameboys so they can play Pok�mon! Thats what I think anyhooo... it might actually be true.

What did you expect when SEGA doesnt even tell people that the Dreamcast exists? They need to start advertising, you gotta lose money to make money, then again SEGAs in it pretty deep at the moment.

Hey Paul, how can you hate SEGA when they have some of the best games? Anyway, fantasticSAM is right, they need ADVERTISING! I don't know what they're thinking. They even stopped commercials on MTV. That definitely isn't enough. Putting them on Nickelodeon so all those little bratty kids could get their parents to buy it for them would work better.

I think that's the reason most developers support the PS2, because they know Sony will do a good job marketing the system. They don't want to develop for a system that doesn't advertise well and therefore doesn't sell.

Don't worry, Sega announced some time ago that they have 130 million to spend on advertising starting mid summer and lasting into next spring. Sounds pretty decent to me. I think they really need to advertise the hell out of the 50 rebate thing taking place June 4th through August 1st, could be the boost for their installed base they need.

Is it just me or is there a sence of panic around the Sega HQ?
somthing tells me that the start of this "Mother" of all Console wars is going to be a stinker, and we will be flodded by a whole host of Sega and Sony fanboys bragging about which system is best.
Oh to late it is already happening  .
What ever happened to bragging about the best games, or is that to much to ask for in this new Heartless age of gaming.
