At first I wasn't sure if you really thought this really happened. Then when I read your post about you switching over to the X-Box, I decided I better set you strait!
Notice the title of that article (I'll bold the important part  ), "The Gotcha Report: Farewell, PS2, We Barely Knew Ye."
So there you go. The article was BS! Come back and join all of the PS2 goodness! You won't regret it.

I think it goes without saying that it was a joke, nobodies that stupid.
This article and the one IGN posted last week is results of the amount of crap thats constantly getting spewed around the net.
You go into most PS2 forums and there are people slamming the pS2 for this and that, and the reality is the machine hasn't been out for more than 4 months.
Sony was the king last round and everyone likes to see the Champ fall.
But after awhile you get somewhat immuned to it to a point. Its still good laughs to see a newbie come inot a PS2 forum thinkin he/she can dice it all up and leave us for ignorant. but in the same breathe it can be the most annoying thing to.
Heck you've got to goto www.msxbox.com forums and see what they latch onto. I actually went there to talk XBox stuff but all they want to do is trash the PS2.
Its Sad very Sad, and the ignorance they spew cries for rebuttal, but after about a 2 pager I figured it just wasn't worth the time or the effort because we all know how it ends

I completely agree ddaryl. I've visited several forums and some of them in particular are just ignorant and i would have to spend pages and pages arguing with them with the likelyhood that none of them will listen. MSXbox isnt too bad. They like to PS2 bash there but its alot more informed and intelligent than what ive seen at either nintendonation or segaweb.
