are there any new mod chips available? for exemple to unlock the ps2 for being able to watch all region dvds......or for ps2 backups(cds and dvds).....

I went to get some info about MODCHIPs in a shop in HongKong. They told me they just had a modchip capable of playing PS2 copy games...and that's it...
Isn't there a modchip capable of playing ps1 and ps2 copygames? and take US and European Games?
