Sony Readies Demo Discs

Sony has confirmed plans for a major PlayStation 2 promotion involving their upcoming platformer 'Jak and Daxter.' Specifically, Sony plans to distribute approximately 300,000 demo discs of the game to retailers across Japan later this month. The full game is scheduled for release on December 20th, and is expected to sell in excess of 1 million copies. Sony plans to back the demo disc campaign with a series of television and print advertisements.
