Square PS2 racing game

Square has announced Type-S, a racing-simulation game.

"The game is being developed by Escape (a subsidiary of Square), a company that previously worked with Dream Factory on the Tobal and Ehrgeiz series. The game will feature a " driver's eye" camera angle; the player will be able to see the interior of the car, as well as the driver's hands on the steering wheel. In preparation, Square has already acquired licenses from Japanese manufacturers, including Honda, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Subaru, Nissan, and Toyota to add those companies' cars to the upcoming game. Real racing tracks like the Suzuka and Tsukuba circuits in Japan will also be included as part of the game's course library."

Type-S is scheduled for a spring release in Japan
